Website traffic should not be rocket science, but sometimes it gets quite complicated. So here we are, providing you with some tips to boost your traffic!

Why 3,14? Because we were thinking about Pies today.

Improve your SEO

Search Engine Optimization involves everything (yes, EVERYTHING) needed to make your website crawled by Google, Bing and other search engines in order to get found easily and rank in the first page (hopefully).

Here are some bits of advice on how to start working on:

Use Google Search Console

Inclusion in Google’s search results is free and (almost) easy; Google is a fully automated search engine that uses “web crawlers” that explore the web on a regular basis to find sites and add them to their index.

Google Console enables you, as a webmaster, to check and optimize your website visibility when it comes to searches. Submitting your sitemap and having constant reports on how the website is performing, you can make sure that your website will be in the search results and will rank well, that Google will display the updated content on the go or block the visibility of some specific content on the website (if needed), remove content from Google search results, fix hacked content or malware on the site and much more.

Localize your website by creating a Google My Business profile

You can create your listing quite fast and easy and once you get the confirmation code from Google in your letterbox at the address that you’ll submit, your listing appears right when people are searching for your business or businesses like yours on Google Search or Maps.

People can easily add photos and reviews afterwards and you can update your listing at any moment —so you can stand out, and bring customers in.

Write a badass title and use proper title tags and keywords

No description needed here, just do it!

Make your post title appealing, user keywords that help your content get found easier and faster and try to make your title tags as suitable as possible.

Mix it up

There is no success recipe when it comes to marketing, business or whatever we would like to, but there is plenty of testing until you find what best suits you. At first, you should get to know your public very well and test the content that they like the most (tone of voice, article length, visuals, infographics, videos, etc).

Once you run all these, optimize based on the response you get from your website visitors and improve it on the go.

As a start, prepare yourself with all the tools that you have to meet your customers, discover new channels and ways to express yourself and add a lot of patience as well!

Get social & Advertise

Everyone is on social media nowadays! Your business should be as well. Based on your public and their behaviour, find the perfect social media channels, publish your content constantly and engage with your public.

Sometimes, reaching a large public or a very specific one, depending on your business needs, you can advertise your website or products. As we previously said, you should test what best fits your business first! But once you know the content that your customers like, it is easier to figure out where you should advertise it (Google search, Google display, Facebook, Bing Search, Youtube, e-mail marketing).

This is how to boost your traffic in a nutshell! Now go write, create meaningful content, engage with your public and spread the love for your business on the huge internet.
