Visitor Analytics

From the first moments we launched Visitor Analytics, we had one criteria that we thought defined success: the number of happy customers. Feedback from customers is at the center of how we evaluate our performance and the basis on which we upgrade our app, by bringing in new features or by perfecting the existing ones.
We constantly analyze the suggestions of all those who use Visitor Analytics and we read all the reviews we get, whether they are bad or good. For these reasons, it brings us great joy to announce that we have reached a historical milestone in the Wix App Market: 1000+ reviews, with 80%of them being 5-star ratings. This encourages us to move forward and strive to provide the best possible services.
But before we look into the future, let's have a quick overview of the past. The road from 1 to 1000 reviews was certainly not easy. Growth never happens immediately for start-up apps. We officially launched Visitor Analytics on Wix in December 2015, almost 5 years ago.
On December 16th 2015, we received the first review after the launch, from user Jonasvanoyenbrugge. It was written in Dutch, but we understood the positive feedback. It was a 5-star review.
After this, we had about a month with no reviews. Then another 3 months with no reviews for our app. Our customer base was still very small.
On April 29th 2016, we received our first negative feedback. A 2-star rating and some issues raised about the functionality. We looked into it and fixed whatever needed to be fixed, to make the customers happy. Negative feedback can be hard to swallow, but it is equally important. You learn from it and you make your app better.
Growth was still slow, but by the end of 2016, we had reached 59 reviews. Most of them were positive.
At the same time, our user base was growing constantly. The real breakthrough came in early 2017. In March 2017, we reached 1,000,000 users on Wix. We've been growing ever since. And we've been adding features all the time. You can see some other landmarks in our brief history on our dedicated page. We've also become available on any type of website, not just Wix, in March 2018.
Our next objective is 3,000,000 downloads and installs of our app.
Of course, we still keep track of reviews. We already received more than 30 since the start of this month. Every now and then, there is a negative one. Most of the time, it's just because of some misunderstanding. Some other times, bugs are being reported, which we fix as soon as possible. We are thankful for all feedback, as it enables us to act on problems immediately and offer better service.
It is also great to see that this milestone was reached on our #1 partner's website: Wix. Wix has been reaching new heights in terms of features, quality, customization, usability, security, load speed and much more. Without doubt, they are one of the top website builders on the internet, and we look forward to further growth together.
We are proud to be associated with Wix and to play a small part in the web building revolution that they have started. We are also proud to be one of the most popular apps in their app market. Very few other apps have ever reached beyond 1000 reviews.
