Right above the tiles, you can see a date-selector icon. This enables you to select a certain time period, or specific day, for which you want the dashboard's data to correspond. It's important to use these constraints to select periods during which you ran campaigns or conducted other actions, so as to better analyze the impact of such activities.
You also have the possibility to set the dashboard's data to auto-reload every few seconds/minutes depending on your needs.
At the bottom of each tile, there is an option to "View All" (specific wording will depend on the tile you are viewing). For the example shown in the first image above, it is "View Web Statistics Overview". Selecting this button redirects you to a specific module with greater detail breakdown (second image). Why not give it a try?
Integrated Tips

- Almost all tiles contain additional information if you hover over them. Just let your cursor run over various elements and discover how much data is actually packed into a tile.
- Almost all tiles have a little "i” icon in the upper right corner, giving you yet more information about what it represents. You just have to move your cursor there.
All Dashboard Tiles in Detail
As you will now start to see, there is a huge wealth of information available to you for each section. See the following segments which will explore each of the tiles in more detail.
Quick Note: Don't forget to read the general hints about the dashboard tiles!
Important Hints:
- Make sure the desired time period is selected, so that the data matches what you want to see.
- For a better perspective on the data displayed in the chart, you can select/deselect certain KPI’s simply by clicking on each of them above the graph. Enable just the ones that you are interested in or maintain them all to get a more complete overview.
- Each metric also has a percentage beneath it, which represents a comparison with the previous equivalent period. They can be:
Green ( you’re on track ! ); meaning that the data represented has improved in comparison to the previous period.
Red ( you have work to do ! ); meaning that the data represented has worsened in comparison to the previous period.
- This color scheme allows you to see whether your website is on a good track or not – if all or most of your tiles are green, things are working out as they should. If all or most of them are red, you should take action.
- Right between the KPIs selector and the actual graph, there is an option that can be enabled to "Compare Data to Previous Period" (if it exists). This enables you to get a better view of current data vs. the previous equivalent period. A less intense line of the same color will be displayed in the same graph for each selected KPI.
- In the same place, you are also able to group the data by Days, Weeks, Months or Year intervals.
- The data is presented to you in the form of a line for each KPI. In order to increase clarity, only a few labels are shown right from the start. You can select/deselect them as you please. Don't forget to hover over each dot in the line chart for more details to appear.
Overall Page Visits
The overall number of visits registered on your website pages during the selected time period. Every time a visitor reloads a page or visits a new page on your website, this counts as a view/visit. A visitor can generate multiple page visits during a session - this is why the number of page visits is usually higher than the number of visitors. This is one of the most important metrics to track, as it can define the popularity of a website, the cost of paid partnerships and ads and it can also be proof of growth and trust within the market. Overall Sessions
A session represents a set of interactions that a single visitor undertakes on a website during a particular period of time (we define the length of a session as 3 hours). A session can include visited pages, triggered events, or e-commerce transactions made by a visitor within a specific time range. Sessions does not differentiate between new and returning visitors New Visitors
The number of unique visitors who have visited your website in the selected time range for the first time. A visitor can only be counted once as being new. Returning Visitors
The number of visitors that return to your site, after having already been tracked at least once previously visiting your website (during a session prior to the currently selected time range). If a visitor visits your website twice in the selected time range, they will be counted once as a new visitor and once as a returning visitor. Converting Visitors
The number of visitors that have reached at least one of your website's defined conversion pages during their session on your site.
The amount of page visits that were tracked by your visitors during the selected time period (including reloads)
This tile displays the six most popular pages within your website and the number of page views on those 6 pages. So, these listed pages received the most attention during the selected time period. This overview enables you to see which content is the most interesting to your user base. Take your learnings and focus on what your visitors are looking for !
Every row shows one popular page of your website and the related information:
- The title and the URL of the page
- How many visits were identified for that page
- A pie chart indicating how much of your overall website's traffic was received by this page (during in the selected time period)
Important Notes:
- This represents only the six most visited pages. If you want to see all the pages your visitors have visited, click on the "View all Page visits" button in the lower part of the tile - this will lead you to the full list of your website's pages and their related number of views.
- The percentages of all pie-charts shown within the tile do not necessarily have to sum up to 100%, as there might be other pages that your visitors visited that are not included in this top six list. Click on "View all Page visits" to get to a full view of your traffic.
- Everything about the corresponding functionality of this module and much more can be found here.
The percentage of your visitors who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page, no matter the duration or the method they took to leave.
This tile shows you your website's bounce rate in percentages during a selected time range.
The data can be grouped by days, weeks, months, or years within this graph. Hovering along the line can also reveal important details.
Important Hints:
- An increasing bounce rate is a sign that visitors are not “caught” by your content or what you offer. Decreasing bounce rates imply that visitors like what they see on the first page and continue browsing through your website.
- Note that if a visitor reloads that one single page he/she visits, it will be considered a multi-page visit, so not counted as a bounce.
- This is the only exception where a decrease in percentage is a good sign, hence the green color. In all other cases negative percentages in comparison mode will appear red.
- This metric might not be very accurate for one-page websites.
A conversion page is one of your website pages that you defined as such in the corresponding module. Any page for which you consider the visit as important to your website's success can be added to this group. Each visit to one of these pages will automatically be counted as a converting visit. Examples of conversion pages might include a "successful payment" page, a "thank you for your purchase/message" page, or a "submitted form". In the vast majority of cases, the number of conversions dictates the success of a business.
This tile gives you an absolute number of converted visits that were counted by the system, based on your self-defined conversion rules (during the selected time range).
You could say that converting a pure visitor to an actual client of your goods/services (i.e by completing the checkout), would be a good example of a conversion. However, a conversion is always subjective and needs to be defined individually. You could also see a visit as a conversion, if they visit a certain page of your website (i.e. reading a certain blog post).
Important Hints:
- This specific tile on your dashboard will only show you numbers if you have set up "Conversion Pages" in your settings. Once done, the tile will show you the amount of visits those defined "conversion pages" have received during the selected time range.
