This submodule reveals to you various information about how your website is performing in comparison to other participants of the same business sector, from your country. In order for you to view the data, please update your country and business sector for the selected website.
The following data sets are being compared
Important notes:
- You need to define your own business sector and location first, before you can see the data.
- Make sure that the selected options are the real and final ones, so that other users can see as accurate data as possible as well. They cannot be edited, due to reasons of accuracy in the calculations that are made.
- Since you cannot edit the selected options, what you can do instead, is to compare other pairs of countries and business sectors at any time, to compare the numbers with yours.
- Note that even if you change the country and the business sector to check other comparisons, your selected fields will stay the same when returning to the module.
- You can also combine all countries with all business sectors to see the performance of your website compared to all sites that use our application – independent of their business sector and/or geolocation.
Set the time
Just right above the charts, there is a date selector, which enables you to choose a certain time range or even a day for which the data below should correspond to. It has 3 pre-defined periods (Today, Last 7 days and Last 4 weeks), or you can simply choose a custom range to display the data for.
It is important to constrain the date range to certain periods of time in which you ran potential campaigns or took other measures in order to measure how successful these actions were for future planning.
Important hints:
- The date picker allows you to pick the earliest possible start date, the 1st of August 2020. Soon, you will be able to select even more distant dates in the past.
- If there is a data reset event from your site (which took place after that certain date), then the start date for data analysis in this view will be the day the reset was accomplished.
- For more accurate data, we recommend you to compare the competition performance up to 24 hours ago, since the calculations for the current day are made at the end of it.
