Organic search is the procedure of entering one or more keywords into a search engine and getting suggested results. Organic search results are displayed as a list, are ranked based on relevance to the user, and exclude ads (paid search results). In other words, organic search, sometimes referred to as natural search, represents the unpaid results that show up on SERP (search engine result pages).
Most search engines insert paid ads into their results and while those ads are influenced by partnerships or commercial relationships between the website and the search engine or provider, organic search results are not but still have the same amount of relevance to the user.
